Flight

FLIGHT

Aim: To learn about flight and aerodynamics.

  • In your groups of 3, you will make a paper plane and measure its distance and behaviour.
  • In groups of 3, you will make a water rocket and record its distance and behaviour.

Definition:

4 forces of flight:

  1.   Gravity
  2.    Thrust
  3.   Drag
  4.   Lift

Paper Plane:

Material:

1. Paper x1
2. Ruler
3. Paper clip x2
Steps:

1. Fold in half
2. Fold top to two triangles
3. Fold the top down around about the middle
4. Fold in the other side in half
Findings: I found out the paper clip makes my paper plane go further

Conclusion: The paper clip plane went the thurst not sure why, but my guess is the paper clip maybe dose something to the plane. The others didn't go very fay maybe because of the way I threw it of how it was made.
